I am a former designer, planner, academic instructor, and researcher with experience teaching architectural history, managing research programs, and providing academic and technical insight bridging historical and contemporary architectural design practices.
Academic participation includes collaborations with global professionals both vertically and horizontally in culturally diverse organizations, serving as an invited lecturer at MIT and Northeastern University, and as guest speaker and panelist at leading design schools and professional conferences. My time as a designer provided me with a broad experience in the development of healthcare, commercial and public buildings, working with cross-functional teams from concept through construction, and collaboratively interfacing with clients to ensure positive outcomes.

My service includes a comprehensive consultation to help identify specifically what the significance of an owner's property and what opportunities may exist for enhancing and improving it.
The first step is to discuss your ideas and your vision for the future of your home or other building. This then leads into a comprehensive report that begins a more specific discussion. The report could lead to a more detailed project plan that lays out the options that would work best for you and point you in the right direction such as working with a builder directly or an architect. There is no standard procedure as there is no standard family, owner or home. Each project is unique because there is no 'one size fits all' approach when it comes to historic houses.
My background in design and construction management is complemented by a comprehensive study of historical architecture and cultural practices that shape design models and trends over the centuries.
