The process draws upon sources beyond the house itself including local archives. Modeled after the methods used by the National Historic American Building Survey your custom report will include a full analysis of your property in terms of its historical context and significance through a combination of text, drawings and photographs.
Once the report is complete, it is crucial to understand your needs and aspirations for enhancing your home or property, and then look at your options for moving forward. What are your ultimate goals? Should you craft a long-term plan? Are your needs more immediate? Should you hire an architect? a builder? an engineer? preservationist? We will discuss your needs and desires in order to arrive at a plan that works specifically for you.
Once we have an action-plan for enhancing your property, I can provide project management services ranging from procurement to management of all of the consultants and contractors involved through project completion.
